Fundy Optometry is led by Dr. Eric Caissie and Dr. Karine Lanteigne, providing professional and bilingual, eye care in Saint John, Hampton, and St. Stephen, New Brunswick. Our comprehensive eye examinations include:

All three Fundy Optometry clinics are located in Vogue Opticalstores, where patients can access a wide selection of frames, prescription lenses, sunglasses, and contact lenses.

All prescriptions are provided directly to our patients.
You are free to purchase glasses or contact lenses wherever you choose.

Our Optometrists

Dr. Caissie is from Moncton, New Brunswick. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Moncton in 1985, a Health Science Diploma in 1986, and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 1990.

He is licensed to prescribe therapeutic eye drops, oral medications, and the renewal of glaucoma drops.

His clinical interests include the treatment of binocular vision imbalance using prism correction and diagnosis of ocular disease with the use of an advanced scanner of the retina and optic nerve, called Optical Coherence Tomographer (O.C.T.).

Dr. Caissie practices at all three clinic locations. Outside of practice, he enjoys photography, kayaking, and camping along the Bay of Fundy.

Dr. Lanteigne was born and raised in Caraquet along the Bay of Chaleur in northeastern New Brunswick. She obtained her Health Sciences diploma from the University of Moncton and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the School of Optometry at the University of Montréal in 2000.

She is licensed to prescribe therapeutic eye drops, oral medications, and the renewal of glaucoma drops.

She practices in both the Saint John and Hampton locations. Dr. Lanteigne has an interest in pediatric optometry and dry eye management. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, downhill skiing, and spending time with her family.
